I am not about to explain what challenges and opportunities exist. That is between my client and me.

But it does give me an opportunity to tie-back to a few things raised in this issue: namely:

a) This is a really compelling real-world proposition and it therefore makes "getting peoples' attention" a lot easier both in the real world and cyberspace.

b) The company is actuely aware of the tension between selling locally and globally (or at least nationally) and in as measured a way as they can, they are trying to do this, granted the pressure they feel to get on top very quickly.

c) They have correctly recognised that to take the next step they need to review their internet marketing and adjust website design and search engine marketing accordingly. (Business cards can follow, remember?). They recognised that just building a website does not instantly confer a stream of eager customers.
